How to Submit a Course Equivalency Petition

• If an articulation does not exist, you may submit the LIFESCI Course Equivalency Petition.
• Your request must include a syllabus, lecture schedule, and lab schedule* for each petitioned course.
• You may petition a review of one LIFESCI course per form submission.
• Please allow approximately 20 business days for a decision from our faculty committee. Decisions will be posted on the MyUCLA “Petitions” page.

*Required for LS7L review only.

Note for incoming Fall 2026 students:

Please wait until your Degree Audit Report (DAR) has been posted by the Registrar before submitting a request.
